Hey,
Ready for week 2-3?

Day 8: Went to hub bu xiang and han zheng jie. Holy shit. It is so hot and humid. 35 more days.
35 more days
Day 9: Sunday wasn’t much. Ate some long beans which tastes like black pepper crab. Tasty.
34 more days
Day 10: Ate a 7 yuan burger for lunch. Tastes like macdonalds’ mcspicy. Busy nowadays because of the projects I have.
33 more days
Day 11: Ate luncheon meat for dinner and burger for lunch. Watched Korean boys over flowers for the whole night.
32 more days.

Day 12: Went out to do project today. Woke up at 8am. Helped Ng Mun & Aik Hwee with their project on tofu skin, dou pi before heading to the guang zhang, shopping centre for our project. Had xiao long bao for lunch. 8 yuan for 10 pieces and its tastier than Singapores’. The person in-charge of the shopping centre is a short and skinny mother of one. She is very friendly and kept us entertained. She even let us interview her and shared with us a lot of valuable information. She also helped us interview another women and introduce the children’s clothes. She also invited us to an event next month regarding moon cake festival. Sally is now sick so we filmed only half day. We will be continuing to shoot tomorrow; interviewing the landlord’s wife and foreigners. We also have to do B-rolls: streets at night, taxi and people on the streets. I’m getting bankrupt. I’m left with 400 yuan. I need to withdraw money soon and shop for clothes.
31 more days.
Day 13: Woke up at 10.30 today. I feel lethargic. Jon foo said our footage was very good so far so that’s good to hear. Had burger for lunch as usual. Cheapest alternative. I guess we know why burgers are so popular in the states now huh. My roommates bought Huan Zhu GeGe DVD and they are watching it in their rooms, laughing their heads off. Headed to Wal-Mart.
30 more days.
Day 14: Boring day. Went out to shoot b-rolls. Shopped for food at wal-mart. Everyone kept staring at our cameras and us. Pretended I was a host and roleplayed with my friends. Had free starbucks drink and lipton lemon tea, apparently it is their new product.
29 more days.

Day 15: Friday; Went out to this place called New Life Restaurant for lunch. Had pizza and became their VIP for only 1 yuan. Sweet. Went to withdraw 1500 yuan. Bought eagle eye DVD and tested it at home. Quite clear. Headed to this notebook store and bought a lot of notebooks for my stinky sister and bought this umbrella that resembles an alcohol bottle. Its lime green, fascinating because it is much cheaper than Singapore. Again, we were comedians at the store, pulling our imperial act on the store assistants. This black guy asked for my number and stalked us from the laundry store to the provision shop. Scary and freaky though he was cute. Sally gave him my fake number, which he tested on the spot. She told him that I do not have my phone with me even though I did. I think he is a big flirt though. Keeps touching people’s hair. Weird.
28 more days.
Day 16: Woke up at 8.30am but was quite reluctant to because I’m so sleepy. Bus ride to red cliff, chi bi took 2 hours. Had lunch at a restaurant but the food wasn’t very nice. Headed to zhuge liang statue before heading to the cliff itself which is 45 minutes away. We had to climb three mountains before reaching our destination. It was a hot ride. Bought this emperor’s cup for 15 yuan. Korean dinner SUCKED so bad. Stopped eating after two tastes of that shit. My gosh. I’m never going back to that place. Tried some Taiwanese chicken that was very spicy.
27 more days.

Day 17: Shopped at meters/bonwe today. Spend like 380 yuan on two items. They are freaking nice! Ok so this women who served me was pretty nice. Got my jacket and everything. Apparently they get commission for each customer they serve so, she quarreled with this bitch who wrote her number onto my jacket that the nice lady got for me. I helped the nice women of course. Apparently they like Singaporeans. They’ll flock to you if they know you’re a foreigner. Maybe they think that we’ll spend more? We had tang bao for lunch and I bought candy floss! Yummy. Everywhere we walked, people kept staring at us. We went to this A-stuff fake branded goods store. The man was kind enough to show sally where the bank of china is. We took a cab back to his store; he paid of course and told us the directions to the bubble tea store. There were lots of people at the bubble tea store; the normal bubble tea tastes awesome, tastes different from the one in Singapore, but in a good way. We even got another lemon tea (I think) for free. Saved that for dinner. We went to chicony to find our “friends”. On our way there, the cab driver kept insisting that Malaysians are Chinese. I mean, malays are definitely not Chinese. I gave up trying to explain that Fish Leong is a Malaysian Chinese, and not all Malaysians are Chinese. Good god. He went on about how Taiwan belongs to China and is not a “Country”. Democracy hello! Dinner was ok, had beef rice as usual. The people at the perfume kept giving us the face. F them, seriously. Aren’t they suppose to be nice and serve us?! We slacked at Starbucks and I found this book where you can leave your comments and penn your thoughts. I corrected one of the page with English written on it filled with errors & mistakes. Wrote one myself. While walking back, I saw pet peddlers on the streets and TA-DA! A one-month old golden retriever caught my eye. It kept licking my fingers, biting it in a fun way and resting its neck on my hand. I love it! But dad’s allergic to pets, can’t bring it back to Singapore. I wouldn’t mind just having it for 4 weeks. I want a puppy/dog so badly. I think I will be getting dog food and feed those stray dogs.
26 more days.
Day 18: Woke up early today. Ate cup noodles for the first time in this entire trip. Doesn’t taste as good as the one in Singapore. Class was boring as usual. And oh, about yesterday I forgot to say that people thought we were Koreans. LOL. The weather today is freezing cold. Stomache from the horrible dinner we had opposite the school. I’ll never go back. The mapo tofu tastes like shit and their food is so god damn oily. A simple egg doesn’t even taste good.
25 more days.
Day 19: Today was average. Went to the school of journalism and communications and met new friends. I’m impressed with this one girl’s English. She speaks the best (so far) English for a china person. Had dinner at PALA, a china burger chain. They provide gloves for you to eat your chicken wings. How interesting is that? Sally requested one as well and this woman gave her an attitude. What a bitch. Sally got a call from our friend at chicony who wants us to perform at their mid autumn festival on 3rd October. I wonder what we’re going to do. KL is now my new wolf puppy! yay :D
24 more days
Day 20: Recorded some stupid viral video with Sally using two Deng Li Jun’s song, qian yan wan yu and wo zhi zai hu ni. We need stupid shit like wearing bras outside and hood/towel on the head. Tried to upload the video onto facebook but it’ll take 100+ hour. My god.
23 more days.

Day 21: Finally rain after 20 days. Had Korean rice for lunch without vegetables. Tastes like char kway Tiao. Ordered KFC for dinner. Tasted weird, costs 35 yuan. Aint going to order them again.
Wanted to sleep at 10pm today but slept at 12am instead because I have to finish my Chinese history project before leaving for the trip. Presentation is on Monday.
22 more days.
Sidenote:
Gotta start catching up on my TV series. Vampire diaries is so fucking awesome.
Happy birthday Laila. I miss you. <3>

Hey guys,
I'm back from china and here is my little "diary" over the past 6 weeks. I wanted to blog about it, but due to blogger being blocked in China, I couldn't.
Day 1: Reached the airport about 5.30pm, had to wait for the lecturers to arrive which was at 6.15pm – they were late. Wow, talk about being punctual. They were very disorganizing, only settling everyone’s air ticket at 7.20am which was 20 minutes AFTER boarding time. I walked as fast as I can to the gate, which was the furthest compared to the rest of the gates. Everyone else was already on the plane.
The plane took off for its destination – Guangzhou airport.
When we landed at Guangzhou airport, we proceeded to collect our luggage, but, alas, Em lost her luggage. Who knows what happened to it or who might have taken it. Anyway, we went to some ramen restaurant to have lunch. Plain noodles that costs 58 RMB. Way too overpriced.
We reached Wuhan airport at about 6.15pm. It was breezy. Nothing like what we expected it to be – humid and hot. We arrived at wuhan foreign students dormitory at about 8pm. On the way to the dorm, we saw the living conditions of the Chinese, which was horrible. I regretted signing up for this trip. I felt disgusted. No doubt, when I stepped into the apartment, holy crap. Boy did I miss home. If it wasn’t in China but in a developed country, this wouldn’t happen. Dirty rooms, toilets.
42 more days.
Day 2: Slept at 10.30 last night because I was too sleepy. Woke up at 9.30am. Went to china mobile to get our sim cards done and to eat before shopping at Carrefour. We ate at ajisen ramen. I ordered a bowl of spicy beef noodles which I specifically told them to only add A LITTLE bit of chilli. They ended up giving me the original spicy one. I was so pissed because it was too spicy. On our way back from china mobile to Carrefour, I witness a young kid about 6 or 7, taking out his balls and peeing all over the place, on public road, pathway to be exact. I guess it is a common sight of this here since my friend saw a girl shitting on the roadside. Gross.
At Carrefour, it was a total mess. There wasn’t any aircon so I was sweating all over. There was a long queue for the eggs and they blocked half of the pathway. It was A MESS. Everything was scattered everywhere. I intended to buy meat but after seeing how they treat the meat, I decided not to. The meat was left in open spaces where the flies and insects were feeding on them. Spent 214RMB on my own stuff and 140RMB from what my roommates bought.
For dinner, the lecturers brought us to a roadside stall, which I’m so afraid of. In the states, it’s fine because we can grab a hot dog and its clean. But in china, even if the meat dropped onto the floor, they will still pick it up and serve it to you. Even though we didn’t spend much on the meal, it definitely wasn’t a good one.
41 more days.
Day 3: Woke up at 9.30am due to the noises people outside were making. Felt an inch in my throat. I’m starting to fall sick. I blame the ridiculous food I had yesterday. Class was supposed to start today but apparently things weren’t ready. We were told that there wouldn’t be Internet until the third week, which is halfway through our trip. I can’t survive without Internet so I hope it’d be up asap. Brunch was simply bread, bread and bread with cheese. I’m in desperate need for fruit juice but looks like I can’t get any here. Chinese history was a load of crap. Just merely showing pictures of the places. I kept coughing during class. Felt like I was having a fever. I think I’ve drunk about 4 liters of water today. Still does not help my throat. Dinner was at a restaurant where we had lots of stuff. I initially wanted porridge but wtf, they do not have it. Chinese restaurant without porridge. Are you kidding me? Ate until I was so full I felt like vomiting. The walk to the restaurant was long and tiring. My legs are now sore due to the walk. Class starts at 12.45 tomorrow and I’m sick. God, save me.
40 more days.
Day 4: Woke up at 10. I’m still having a cough. Insects bit me on my hand, legs. Gross. I don’t feel better at all. Some insect bit my eye. Fuck this. Class was boring. So many assignments due. So stressed. Finally found an Internet connection at the assembly area but its way too slow. The connection is like one freaking bar. Gosh. I miss my bed and my shower. I hate dirtiness. I bought this really cool towel for 40 yuan. But I forgot to bargain. But I got two free small handkerchiefs for free which costs 5 yuan. I’ve miss like 2 episodes of kang xi. One of the group leaders came to settle the Internet; the modem is 85 yuan cheaper. But like so what? GIVE US OUR INTERNET NOW. NOW. NOW. I can’t survive without Internet. I need to watch my videos. More African people are moving in to the hostel.
39 more days
Day 5: Class starts at 10am. I’m still sick but feeling slightly better. We’re running out of water. I have tons of stuff not eaten or drank like chips, milk, yogurt, and cheese. Internet is finally here. Skyped with mom and dad. I have no idea what I want to do for my non-fiction assignment “uniquely wuhan”. Jolene is finally in wuhan and also hating it. Finally discussed I.S project presentation. I have to do a project about my trip to Australia in july, where it was winter. Had porridge the whole day. I’ve got a phobia of it now. Ew. Did I mention that the restaurant I went to served me this big bowl of glue porridge? I ALSO specifically ordered vegetables WITHOUT SPICE and that bloody women also said there will be no spice in the veggies, but when served to us, it was spicy. I feel like slapping her. How many more days till I get better? ☹
38 more days.

Day 6: Woke up at 8.30am. I don’t know what time I slept because I went to bed at 10.30 but couldn’t sleep. Last time I checked the time was 12.30am. Class starts at 10am today. Another one at 3pm. I seriously don’t give a shit about Chinese history. My god. Class was boring as usual today. Walked out to dong hu to eat dumplings with my friends. Costs only 6 yuan for 18 dumplings and it was kinda filling.
37 more days.
Day 7: One week of hell. Woke up in the middle of the night coughing. Felt like I was gonna die. Fell asleep easily at 12.30 though. Weird. Woke up at 7.30, couldn’t get back to sleep. Roommates got me soybean milk. I’m drinking water like nobody’s business. Internet has problems. Tapping off Sally’s wireless Internet from next door. Free and easy today but I honestly don’t feel well. It’s so warm outside. Walked a lot today. Went to eat this beef rice bowl, which was so filling. Tastes like yoshinoya.
I MISS CHINA'S WEATHER.

hey y'all,
I'm leaving tomorrow so I went to have my favorite local dish -
BLACK PEPPER CRAB. And where else to have it other than
LONG BEACH?

As you can see, this is my new hairstyle. I've been seriously swearing ever since I got this new hair cut. Flippin dude took 1.5 hours to cut my hair compared to the jap dude who only took about 15 mins. Go back to fucking training!

I was bored while waiting for the food ya know... Good stuff requires patience.

Had the typical nut appetizers.

The first dish that came was the prawn. It's so weird though. Veggies always come first.

This is prolly the only prawns I eat. Because those outside has shit in them. Too gross for me to eat those. yuck.

2nd to arrive is the Roast Chicken. I can't survive without chicken. yum, yum.

I was hoping the crab would come last but damn! It came after the roast chicken. And this is the reason why I do not have any other food pictures after the crab...

Don't they just look so tasty? God typing this, I have cravings for MORE.
This might or might not be the last blog entry before I return. Who knows if the chinese's internet is half as good as ours. GOD BLESS US.
and oh, if you have yet to watch the previews of the NEW
GOSSIP GIRLS you better go youtube it right now. YES RIGHT NOW. hot stuff going on. Joanna Garcia from Privileged will be starring in Gossip Girls! CWTV deserves the death sentence for canceling both of my favorite shows: Privileged & Veronica Mars.

hey y'all,
I'm back after all those fucking tests, projects and oh, my driving evaluation. I ALMOST flunk it. but thank god, I passed.
I'm gonna miss you more than anyone else, K.

I'll see you in TWO years after you're done with your mission. Prolly when I've moved to the states. That, is a promise we'll keep.

All that moments and memories that we shared, thank you. Even though it was merely just a few months, I love you.

Goodbye "Delmar" Have fun in Annapolis, Maryland! I know you'll enjoy college life there. Meet some cute guys and, you know... :P But stop getting hickeys on your chest dude.
We're so gonna party when you're back in December! :D LOVE YOU!
11 more days until I leave on a jet plane (on a jet plane)
and Oh, i'm cutting my hair today... wonder how it'll look. *keeps fingers crossed*

Sup y'all,
Been a while since I last updated. Pretty stressed out lately, with all the tests, datelines to meet, dance club, and my driving classes.
Yes, I recently enrolled myself into a driving school, currently gonna learn to drive manual cars.
Why? Because I want to drive internationally and a SG License allows me to drive in the states and Australia without the need to convert.
I opened up my advanced theory book for driving and almost fainted. Hell! I couldn't understand any of the gear changing stuff. I'll have to start taking driving lessons when I get back from China.
Looking at my schedule for August kinda freaks me out. K's leaving, I'm leaving. Gotta pass my BTT before I leave. Gotta hang out with kris & ali when they come back. Music Video to shoot during holidays. Gotta visit my teachers and friends from HS. Gotta go snowboarding. Cut my hair.
I wonder if I would have time to blog when I leave for China. You know they are famous for having horrible internet connection. I just realized that 5 shows that I'm gonna watch are gonna be out in sept! GOSSIP GIRLS, HEROES, MELROSE PLACE, VAMPIRE DIARIES, THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE. Which in other words means that if China doesn't allow me to watch them off youtube, I'll fucking kill them.
My sister's party was a BLAST. She moved house, so we went there to have a BBQ + Pool party. YES they have a pool! She said it was small but it wasn't as small as I expected it to be. The food was delicious as well, but we all felt like stuffed pigs in the end.
What if you found out your friend has been cheating on your friend's with her boyfriend?
True gossip girl story huh? Funny thing is, everyone knows everyone. Suddenly, everything starts to piece together.
Life doesn't goes as you want it to. I've definitely changed my opinion of that person.

hey y'all,
I'm back with my last post of AUSTRALIFICATION!
We stay in Gold Coast for 2 days, so we had to find a place to crash overnight.

We settled for this pretty cool apartment. And yeah, we had the whole house to ourselves.

Thats my subway sandwich right there.

Tired... sad face. Oh, its the scarf he gave me. Brought it all the way to auzzie to keep myself warm.

The living room with nothing much on TV because we couldn't see shit due to the quality.
When we got up the next morning, we headed down to Surfers' Paradise.

Lovely place with super soft sand. It's your typical auzzie beach.

Don't doubt it. It's a real woman sitting on the bench. She is raising money for charity... if i'm right.

Shopped at HARD ROCK CAFE SURFERS PARADISE. The only one in queensland.

The ultra friendly, lovely, super cute rocker!

We LOVE YOU! and we'll MISS YOU!

My sad face because we're leaving goldcoast.

Camwhoring around our estate.

Enjoying the breeze and the view.

Reminds me of San Fran.

Don't I have kissable lips? hehe. just kidding.

Found a condom on the road, used. How gross is that? It was still there when we left.

UQ! Lovely campus, very pretty buildings.

Outside the Law Building xD

Around campus...

Hello camera! :D

CHEESE!

PIG 'N' WHISTLE: LUNCH.

Camwhoring before ordering.

Look at how big my sausages are!

The treasury casino. Went inside to test my gambling skills.

Camwhoring in the toilet.

GOODBYE BRISBANE. HOPE TO VISIT YOU AGAIN... SOON.
maybe for britney's concert in november? haha :D
sidenote:
I'll be in wuhan from 29th august to 10th august. wow. 6 weeks in china. how am i gonna survive there? I heard they blocked facebook and youtube. fml.

Hey all,
As you know (or not), I've been dying to travel out of the country since I haven't in a while.
No family holidays or trip in awhile or in the near future because my cowardly sister is thantophobic and hallucinates that the plane will crash. Yeah, WTF. I know.
Anyways, some time in May, me and my cousin decided to head over to Brisbane to visit my other Cousin who is living there. It was the only time this year we could visit her due to the clash of school/holidays. This was our only common "break" period.
Its ALWAYS an awesome trip without parents. The only disadvantage is that we have to pay for whatever we buy. *Cries*
Anyways, we left on the 24th of june via emirates.
The SIN-BNE was ok but not very good in terms of take off and landing. But hey, they fed us like pig on the plane, so I can't complain.
BNE-SIN was so much better with smoother landing.

The sexy sunset view from the plane at about 11000 feet. Can you spot that tiny island there? :P
I always find it intriguing when you cross two timezones, you will experience a time where half the sky is bright while the other is dark.
I found my time spent on the airplane was very fruitful. Watched movies that I've long to watch and explored new albums. :D
The best way to relax in the plane is to get some whiskey and coke, mix it then proceed on to watch a movie.
We reached BNE INT AIRPORT at about 12am. Took a cab to my cousin's place and crashed(yeah we were that tired)!
The very next day, we headed to DFO where we shopped around the factory outlets of quiksilver, roxy, billabong, puma, oakley, ripcurl, etc.

The view of DFO where I'm at.

This picture was taken after shopping. Bought 2 NEW ERA HATS. Like FINALLY. Couldn't find my size in Singapore. Either they were ugly or they were too big.

We took the train to SouthBank.

Passed by the Ferris wheel. Costs only $15!!

We had our dinner at a popular Fish and Chips place which I forgotten the name.

Anyways, I ordered the beer battered Fish n Chips. I never knew that the serving was SO HUGE. I couldn't finish it! Nonetheless, it was so yummy.

The night view of the ferris wheel. pretty huh?

:D

On 26th of june my cousins and I made our way down to Gold Coast.

Camwhoring in front of Movie world.

Hollywood Stunt Driver was phenomenal! Great acting, great stunts, awesome explosion!

There was a fake graveyard outside the scoobydoo coaster. I wonder why...

One of the Movie World stores includes the Harry Potter Store. Nothing much, filled with disappointment.

Not to mention overpriced items which can be bought 1/3 the price from harrypotter.com

SUPERMAN ESCAPE! The hyper ventilating roller coaster!!!
Even though its winter in Australia, it amaze me that people can wear shirt and shorts, surfing out in the cold.
For more pictures, go to my facebook AUSTRALIFICATION ALBUM.

I kinda miss that guy. sighs. I guess this is what happen when you don't spend much time together. I even forgot to say bye to him before I left. :(
P.'s birthday was yesterday. I wonder how he spent it. <3 A. is visiting SG in three days. YAYS! <333 and oh, HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!
